Nicaragua Microfinance-Health Initiative

Global Partnerships, PATH and Pro Mujer are working together to create and launch a financially sustainable health program in Latin America. The initiative was launched in Nicaragua in mid-October 2009 and involves a comprehensive assessment by PATH of the health concerns and priorities of Pro Mujer's microcredit clients. Global Partnerships and PATH plan to develop appropriate strategies and affordable solutions to address these health issues that are intrinsically linked with poverty.
